Full-Service Community Schools An equity-oriented strategy, full-service community schools (FSCSs) holistically respond to students’ needs to improve educational experiences and outcomes for underserved populations. They are characterized by four pillars of practice:(1) extended in and out-of-school time learning opportunities (2) integrated service provision (3) family and community partnerships (4) collaborative leadership and decision making.
